Whipped Mascarpone with Orange and Vanilla

Ingredients:

  • 6 oz mascarpone cheese, chilled

  • 1 cup (8 oz) heavy cream, cold

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1/4–1/2 cup powdered sugar (to taste)

  • Zest and juice of 2 oranges

Instructions:

  1. In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, combine mascarpone and heavy cream.

  2. Add vanilla, powdered sugar, orange zest, and orange juice.

  3. Beat on medium-high speed until mixture becomes very thick, smooth, and holds soft peaks, 2–3 minutes.

  4. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to use.

Tip: Don’t overwhip — stop as soon as it’s thick and fluffy to avoid a grainy texture.
